Lionsgate and Egan Productions' interactive John Wick Experience has opened its doors at Area15, situated near the Las Vegas Strip. For a glimpse of what’s inside, check out the images provided above and below.
John Wick filmmaker Chad Stahelski and his team at 87Eleven Entertainment were creative collaborators on the experience, from design to special stunt work. The fun spot is based on the billion-dollar Lionsgate franchise and counts more than a dozen themed rooms from the pics, as well as live interactions and interactive game play.
As each party moves through the John Wick Experience, they are assigned missions that unfold uniquely within this universe, featuring distinct characters, lore, and symbols drawn from the movies. Guests might mingle or share drinks with employees of the John Wick-themed Continental Hotel in Las Vegas, alongside various hitmen, criminal overlords, or fellow intrigued visitors. This approximately 12,000 square foot paid experience encompasses two specialty bars along with a merchandise store.
To draw viewers into this realm Wick Lionsgate and Stahelski collaborated closely with Egan Productions, the creator of the experience. Egan is also working alongside Lionsgate on two additional Las Vegas attractions featuring content from the studio’s popular franchises: The Official SAW Escape, launched in 2018 and recognized as the Best Escape Room. The John Wick Experience is opening just months before the first John Wick spinoff movie, Ballerina, opens in theaters on June 6. Additionally, a second spin-off film featuring Donnie Yen is being planned. Furthermore, Lionsgate is working on turning it into a series. John Wick: Beneath the High Table , with Stahelski and Keanu Reeves serving as executive producers, and the studio is developing an AAA John Wick video game.
