Justin Allgaier Thanks JR Motorsports Team for Vegas Victory

LAS VEGAS ( KLAS — After many narrow misses, Justin Allgaier finally claimed his maiden win in the Xfinity Series at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Allgaier managed to hold off Aric Almirola and crossed the finish line first. This victory marked his first triumph of the year and the 26th of his professional career. Securing his initial top position at this track in Las Vegas, Allgaier expressed excitement about winning in what he called the sports and entertainment hub of the globe.

I've come incredibly close numerous times, and I really enjoy being out here," Allgaier stated. "Over the years, after finishing second, third, and fourth repeatedly, you just chip away at getting those top five finishes. While it's fantastic and enjoyable, it can be discouraging since winning seems elusive.

This win was attributed by Allgaier to his JR Motorsports team for fielding a highly competitive vehicle at the Las Vegas event.

This marks the first time Jarrett Logistics has ever made it to Victory Lane," he stated. "Seeing Mike Jarrett along with his family and bringing them into Victory Lane...it’s truly an incredibly special moment.

The victory for LiUNA provides Allgaier with an early-season boost as the Xfinity Series heads to Florida and the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Tune in live on The CW on Saturday, March 22 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time to watch the race.
