Taipei [Taiwan], March 21 (ANI): The Taiwanese military reported detecting 18 sorties of Chinese aircraft and seven naval vessels near Taiwan up until 6 am local time on Friday, as stated by Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense.
According to the Ministry of National Defense (MND), among 18 missions, 13 flew across the median line and penetrated Taiwan's southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).
Up until 6 a.m. UTC+8 today, we observed 18 sorties of PLA aircraft along with 7 PLAN ships near Taiwan. Among these, 13 sorties crossed the midline into Taiwan’s southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). Our forces continuously monitored this activity and took appropriate actions in response.
