Taipei [Taiwan], March 20 (ANI): As stated by Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense, up to 6 am local time on Thursday, Taiwan identified 27 sorties involving Chinese military planes, along with six ships from China and a single Chinese surveillance balloon.
According to the MND, among the 27 missions conducted, 20 penetrated the median line and entered Taiwan’s southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).
On a posting on X, Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense stated, “Up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8), we identified 27 formations of PLAAF aircraft along with 6 naval vessels from the PLAN circling Taiwan. Among these, 20 formations crossed the midline and ventured into Taiwan’s southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone. Additionally, one Chinese surveillance balloon was spotted within this period.”
