Agartala (Tripura), India, March 21 (ANI): The budget session of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly The fiscal year from March 21, 2025, to April 1, 2026, is scheduled to begin on March 21 and end on April 1.
The session is anticipated to feature comprehensive debates on the state's budget and major legislative issues.
Prior to the session, the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) convened on Tuesday for their meeting at the Tripura Legislative Assembly Under the leadership of Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, the meeting was joined by cabinet members from the treasury bench, Chief Whip Kalyani Saha Roy, and opposition legislators such as Leader of the Opposition Jitendra Chaudhury.
In the later part of the evening, a distinct gathering for cabinet ministers and Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from the governing party took place at Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha’s official residence in Agartala.
The gathering led by the Chief Minister centered around planning and tactics for the approaching legislative session.
The budget session is anticipated to be pivotal, as discussions about monetary strategies, growth initiatives, and legal suggestions will mold the state's management for the next fiscal year. (ANI)
