
A person suspected of involvement has been taken into custody following allegations that two birds were stolen from Petland locations in the Greater Cincinnati region.
The firm claims that the accused reportedly took the initial bird from the Petland outlet on Dixie Highway in Fairfield on Monday.
Subscribe to our NewslettersAuthorities stated that he lingered until the staff was preoccupied serving other customers before seizing an Indian Ring-neck parrot and departing from the premises.
On Wednesday, Petland stated that the suspected individual reportedly entered the Mason store located on Waterstone Boulevard and stole another Indian Ringneck parrot.
Petland posted images of the individual suspected of stealing the animals on Thursday.
On Friday, Petland stated that the Fairfield police had apprehended a suspect, largely because of security footage obtained from an adjacent establishment.
WLWT has contacted the police for additional details about the suspect.
