AUSTIN (KXAN) — Imagine finding a way to enjoy condiments such as ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and barbecue sauce while avoiding their less healthy ingredients.
That's what Glen Powell – an actor and producer from Austin who hails originally from Texas – envisioned when he decided to create a range of organic condiments through his new venture called Smash Kitchen.
Powell has launched Smash Kitchen, an organic condiment range featuring "GMO-free staple items that offer healthy, irresistible tastes without unnecessary additives," as stated in their description. press statement from Smash Kitchen .

Having spent my childhood enjoying magnificent barbecues at our family ranch in Texas, I learned that food is truly an act of showing affection," Powell stated in the press release. "By getting into fitness, I gained knowledge about healthier food options—soon realizing there were numerous dubious additives lurking in common kitchen essentials. Clearly, there had to be a way to create a line of clean condiments without any doubts, only delicious tastes that bring us closer to cherished memories. To me, those precious moments involve sharing meals with loved ones.
Smash Kitchen has launched "reimagined flavors," including Organic Hot Honey Ketchup, Organic Spicy Mayo, and Organic Hot Honey BBQ Sauce, according to the announcement. These condiments can now be found exclusively at Walmart locations across the country. Walmart.com .
Earlier this week, Smash Kitchen introduced their new condiment line featuring eight varieties of ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise available in two different sizes, ranging from $2.17 to $4.97 as stated in the announcement.
The brand was established by Powell, Sameer Mehta, and Sean Kane. Their primary objective is centered around the belief that "better decisions result in improved living."
Smash Kitchen focuses on achieving equilibrium with real food enhanced for superior taste, never compromising on flavor," stated Sameer Mehta, who is both the co-founder and CEO of Smash Kitchen. "Our aim wasn't to revolutionize condiments like ketchup or mustard; rather, we sought after having them taste as they ought to, crafted from top-notch, organic components.
