U.S. District Court Judge Callie V.S. Granade handed down the sentence Clarence White , 45, to 151 months in prison, which will be followed by a period of supervised release lasting three years for the unlawful possession of a firearm.

Based on a USDOJ press statement, law enforcement from Mobile went to an area house on October 23, 2023, to detain White as he had several pending warrants.

Legal papers stated that White started firing through a window of the house following his conversation with Mobile police officers. According to the USDOJ, he came dangerously close to striking one of the officers.

White already had multiple previous felony convictions such as attempted murder, possession of a controlled substance, and assault. These convictions disqualify him from owning a firearm.

As stated by the USDOJ, White was charged with possession of a weapon after being previously convicted as a felon. He admitted his guilt.
