Nairobi - Young political activist Morara Kebaso suggested he might leave the opposition group led by ex-deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.

Why Morara Kebaso May Leave Gachagna
On Wednesday, March 18, the young activist released a statement indicating that his INJECT Party was struggling to align itself with politicians who promote tribalism within the nation.
Morara stated that his newly established party was not created with the aim of utilizing tribalism as a means for promoting political transformation within the nation.
"The INJECT Party has struggled immensely to keep aligning itself with individuals who promote, discuss, and strategize around tribalism. The foundation of our party does not rest upon ethnic hatred for driving political transformation. We aspire to collaborate with other leaders and political entities solely when their principles match ours," stated Morara.
Morara stated that his party has conveyed their dissatisfaction with one of the leaders to the opposition, without specifying who was being referred to.
"We cannot simply state 'Ruto Must Go.' Instead, we should envision and build a future beyond Ruto. Privately and respectfully, we have expressed our dissatisfaction with one of our coalition allies in the opposition. Our hope lies in witnessing certain changes in the upcoming days," he said additionally.
At present, the opposition comprises Gachunga, Kalonzo Musyoka from the Wiper party, Eugene Wamalwa from DAP-K, and Martha Karua.
One of the opposition figures facing critique from certain Kenyan citizens for purportedly promoting ethnic politics is the ex-vice president.
