German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that Putin is "engaging in a game" regarding Ukraine. This statement comes as a response to Russia’s nighttime assaults on Ukraine.
The assaults occurred mere hours following a telephone conversation between the U.S. President and another party. Donald Trump and the Russian President Vladimir Putin .
We've observed that assaults on civilian infrastructure did not subside at all during the initial night following this allegedly pivotal and significant telephone conversation. said Boris Pistorius during a TV interview covered by the news agency AFP .
Pistorius also finds it "unacceptable" that Russia establishes an end to military assistance and intelligence collaboration between Western nations Ukraine as an "key condition" for peace in the dispute between Russia and Ukraine.
