STORM UPDATE: Oklahoma Faces Additional Severe Weather; Snow Possible in Some Areas

Additional storms are anticipated to move through the Sooner State during the early hours of Saturday and continue throughout the day.

Damon Lane, the chief meteorologist at KOCO 5, warned of a potential for hail associated with thunderstorms occurring in the southern and southeastern regions of Oklahoma.

A majority of the anticipated storms are likely to approach the state from the southern and western directions during the early hours of Saturday, bringing intense rain showers across much of the region.

By around midday to late Saturday morning, conditions should become drier ahead of another series of thunderstorms moving across the region.

By 11 p.m. on Saturday, storms are anticipated, potentially resulting in a combination of rain and snow across central Oklahoma throughout the night.
