South Mugirango Member of Parliament Sylvanus Osoro has reiterated his backing for his fellow Kiharu representative, Ndindi Nyoro. Despite being removed from his position as chairman of the Budget and Appropriations Committee, Osoro remains optimistic about Nyoro’s political prospects.

During an interview with Doc Fred on Tuesday, March 18, Osoro referred to Nyoro as his nearest confidant in Parliament and highlighted their robust relationship.
He disclosed that prior to Nyoro speaking publicly about his dismissal, the Kiharu legislator had contacted him to seek clarity on certain aspects of the decision.
“In Parliament, my closest confidant is Ndindi Nyoro. Earlier today, he contacted me seeking advice as he prepared for an upcoming interview; I shared my thoughts with him. We have a deep friendship based on strong bonds. Allow me to emphasize that Nyoro still has many great moments awaiting him. Do not let anyone mislead you—he possesses immense potential and a promising future,” stated Osoro, who is closely aligned with President William Ruto.
During his press conference, Nyoro acknowledged that he had no knowledge of the factors leading to his dismissal.
He mentioned that nobody from the Kenya Kwanza alliance had contacted him to clarify his mistakes, identify necessary changes, or express any worries about his role.
"I am not aware of this either. Nobody from my coalition, regardless of their role, has ever spoken to me about the position, improvements I should make, changes required, or different approaches needed," he stated.

Furthermore, he admitted that his time in office brought about difficulties which frequently required his complete dedication, occasionally even at the cost of effectively representing those who elected him.
Nevertheless, even though there was talk suggesting a potential disagreement with President William Ruto, Nyoro reaffirmed his admiration for the president and showed faith in his replacement, Alego Usonga MP Sam Atandi.
Osoro's comments have since elicited responses from Kenyans, who are now speculating about the future of the remaining legislator and his prospects within the Kenya Kwanza political landscape.
