The New England Patriots might end up needing to find a new player to take over for David Andrews, after he was notified of his release from the team earlier this week.
The Minnesota Vikings might consider releasing their center, Garrett Bradbury, as an available choice for the team, as mentioned by ESPN’s Mike Reiss on Sunday.
The Vikings have recently signed a former player. Indianapolis Colts Long-time starting center Ryan Kelly. Thus, the writing is already on the wall for Bradbury, who was selected as a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Reiss wrote:
"The Vikings plan to release Bradbury If a deal cannot be arranged, according to sources who spoke with ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it appears improbable that a club would be willing to absorb his $4.9 million base salary. Therefore, if Bradbury becomes a unrestricted free agent soon, the Patriots signing him would not come as a shock.
Others have pondered whether the Patriots might shift veteran guard ColeStrange tocenter to fill the void left by Andrews. However, the team may opt for an experienced option such as Bradbury instead.
Exploring that option surely couldn't harm them.
