When constructing her cottage, Kemboi aimed to introduce the peace of nature right outside her door, merging it effortlessly with her sophisticated home, thereby attaining the perfect balance between natural serenity and modern comfort.
In an interview with Pawonation.com.co.ke, the homeowner shared that her passion for landscaping originated from a childhood aspiration she was eager to realize.
"When I was younger, I would grow flowers at my mother's house and keep the area tidy. As a child, I looked up to those large properties with beautifully maintained grounds. I even searched online for images of nice landscaping and saved them on my phone. Mom instilled in me the importance of having a neat compound," she reminisced warmly.
The woman from Eldoret mentioned that she is a self-made landscape designer. She completed the entire compound on her own, turning it into an exquisite garden featuring neatly manicured lawns, lush foliage, and strategically positioned trees.
She mentioned that most of the work was completed by her alone, with only the expenses for purchasing grills and welding setting her back financially.

Kemboi stated that the actual task is taking care of the compound, noting that this significantly enhances its overall appearance.
"Erecting a landscape is simple, but keeping it going is where many folks stumble. Just consider pulling out weeds and ensuring adequate watering, especially during this dry spell," she mentioned.
She encouraged property owners to put money into superior gardening and upkeep to achieve their ideal compound settings.
"Occasionally, it can be intriguing to observe individuals who have spent millions constructing their houses yet hesitate to invest in landscaping. Consequently, their homes may fail to appear as magnificent as they could," she noted.
