Lady Gaga Soars to No. 1 with 'Chaos,' Marking Her Biggest Streaming Debut Ever

Lady Gaga's " Mayhem has claimed the top spot as the No. 1 album in the United States this week.

Her seventh studio album, titled "Mayhem," sees Lady Gaga achieve the largest first-week sales for a female artist this year, garnering 219,000 equivalent album units according to Luminate. Additionally, it marks her most streamed début ever, starting at number one with 108 million streams under its belt.

Gaga has had five of her solo studio albums debut at No.1 on the Billboard 200 including "Born This Way," "Artpop," "Joanne" and "Chromatica," along with the "A Star Is Born" soundtrack and "Cheek to Cheek," an album she shares with Tony Bennett.

Additionally, she announced the full album’s release in March. This compilation of dance tracks features earlier releases such as "Disease," "Abracadabra," and "Die With A Smile," featuring Bruno Mars.

This achievement amassed 56,000 equivalent units, which includes almost 40 million audio streams along with approximately 26,500 in pure sales. Blending elements of pop and R&B, " Ruby" showcases Jennie’s versatility as an artist. Ruby features contributions from Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, FKJ, Dua Lipa, and Kali Uchis. This album marks the third time a member of Blackpink has secured a spot within the top 10 of the albums chart; after Rosé’s “Rosie,” which entered at number three. Recently, Blackpink’s Lisa also achieved this feat with her debut solo album, "Alter Ego," entering the charts at position seven.
