BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC A man from Birmingham has been taken into custody. link to a murder that took place on April 1 , the Birmingham Police declared on Friday evening.
The police report states that Demetrius Henry, who is 22 years old, was apprehended on Thursday, April 3, at an apartment complex located on Beacon Parkway.
Following an evaluation of the available information, officials from Jefferson County issued a warrant for Henry, charging him with capital murder (during the course of a robbery).
Henry will remain at the Jefferson County Jail without bail.
