"When discussing the defeat of Hamas, we mean eliminating them entirely, which includes areas like Judea and Samaria," stated IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir during a situational briefing on Thursday.
"Proceed with a series of operations to counterterrorism along with a robust defense system," Zamir added.
The IDF has apprehended nine terrorists who were hurling rocks at vehicles in the West Bank throughout the last week, according to an announcement made by the military previously.
Furthermore, security forces conducting operations in the West Bank apprehended a total of 70 individuals who were considered wanted.
