Ukrainian troops have destroyed a bridge used by Russia to supply its troops in occupied Kherson.
The bridge spanning the Konka River suffered airstrike hits that demolished two segments of it, causing those parts to plummet into the waters beneath.
The Konka River flows into the nearby Dnipro, which serves as the de facto boundary between territories controlled by Ukraine and Russia in the Kherson region.
Although the bridge had suffered damage earlier in the conflict, it remained functional for transporting military supplies. Vladimir Putin ’s forces in the occupied area.
The strike hit close to the occupied town of Oleshky, and reports suggest it was a ‘complete shock’ to Russian troops.
In another area, Russian drones attacked a five-story apartment building in Chernihiv, demolishing its higher levels as flames consumed the structure.
