Putin Suffers Major Setback as Airstrike Destroys Critical Supply Bridge

Ukrainian troops have destroyed a bridge used by Russia to supply its troops in occupied Kherson.

The bridge spanning the Konka River suffered airstrike hits that demolished two segments of it, causing those parts to plummet into the waters beneath.

The Konka River flows into the nearby Dnipro, which serves as the de facto boundary between territories controlled by Ukraine and Russia in the Kherson region.

Although the bridge had suffered damage earlier in the conflict, it remained functional for transporting military supplies. Vladimir Putin ’s forces in the occupied area.

The strike hit close to the occupied town of Oleshky, and reports suggest it was a ‘complete shock’ to Russian troops.

In another area, Russian drones attacked a five-story apartment building in Chernihiv, demolishing its higher levels as flames consumed the structure.

Activities between Ukraine and Russia persist as Putin refrains from signing a 30-day cease-fire accord intended to pave the way for initiating peace negotiations.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asserts that Putin intends to reject the U.S.-proposed ceasefire agreement, but is 'fearful of informing Donald Trump' because he ‘wants to continue this war’.

Donald Trump, who previously claimed he could end the Russia-Ukraine war in one day , says he instructed Putin to show mercy toward Ukrainian soldiers From 'a slaughter not witnessed since World War II'.

Putin appears to be weighing up Russia’s response to the deal – which has been welcomed by most European leaders and is being considered a ‘moment of truth’ for the Kremlin .
