Jonathan Hoang's family is urgently searching for their missing relative, who was last spotted on the evening of March 30 at their residence in Arlington.
"It has been challenging—we aren't quite the same," stated Thao Hoang, who is Jonathan’s father.
So far, there has been no sign of the 21-year-old, even though search and rescue teams have made daily attempts to find him.
A large-scale search is scheduled for Saturday again.
They will move side-by-side and meticulously search through the woods and the surrounding area for the final time to see what we can discover," explained the father. "The law enforcement team has been remarkable; their efforts have been incredibly comprehensive.
Jonathan has autism, and his family mentions that he struggles with recalling specific details and might find it challenging to contact someone for assistance when trying to return home.

"If he doesn’t have proper protection gear and sufficient food and things like that, then the time frame for safety is becoming smaller," explained Hoang.
But the community is not giving up – holding a candlelight vigil Thursday night near the family’s home.
"We're essentially shattered, but the support and affection we receive from our community and friends are assisting us in staying united," stated Hoang.
