INDIANAPOLIS – The Pacers' All-Star forward Pascal Siakam and wings Aaron Nesmith and Bennedict Mathurin Everything will be available for Friday’s matchup against the Jazz following their status as questionable on the injury list, according to coach Rick Carlisle during his pre-game press briefing.
After sitting out the past three matches due to left calf discomfort, Mathurin is back. Siakam was considered questionable because of right elbow bursitis; however, since joining the Pacers from the Raptors in January 2024, he hasn’t skipped any contests due to injury except for one instance on March 17 for personal matters. Following a spell of 35 games sidelined by an ankle sprain between November 1 and January 16, Nesmith was also tagged as questionable owing to persistent pain in his right ankle.
Siakam tops the Pacers in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 20.3 points and 6.9 boards each contest, earning him a spot in his third consecutive All-Star Game. Mathurin ranks third on the squad with an average of 16.1 points plus 5.4 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Nesmith contributes 11.8 points per game and holds the team’s highest three-point shooting accuracy at .418.
